Lechuza Beach is a small, tucked-away cove near Trancas on Malibu's west end, reached by an unassuming public access path that keeps it far quieter than the big state beaches. Framed by rocky points and backed by homes, it's a favorite of locals for its pristine sand, clear water, and tidepools at low tide. There are no facilities and parking is limited street parking, which is part of what preserves its low-key, hidden character.
