El Pescador is the westernmost of the three Robert H. Meyer Memorial State Beaches, a small, secluded pocket beach reached by a bluff-top trail and stairway. It shares the rugged character of El Matador and La Piedra: rocky points, tidepools at low tide, and dramatic sunset light, with a narrow strand that shrinks as the tide rises. Facilities are minimal and the clifftop lot is small, so it stays quiet and scenic.
