County Line Beach

County Line Beach

(805) 488-1835
County Line Beach marks the border between Los Angeles and Ventura counties at Malibu's far northwest end, a long beachbreak with a cobblestone point on its northern end. It's one of the more consistent, approachable surf spots on this stretch of coast, though it's often bigger and colder than it looks from the highway and draws a crowd, with rocks and some localism in the water. Roadside parking along PCH puts you right at the sand, and the wide beach is also good for a walk or a swim on smaller days.
