Legacy Park is a restored wetland and environmental-education park in the heart of Malibu's Civic Center, built to capture and filter urban runoff before it reaches the ocean. Interpretive signage, native landscaping, and walking paths make it a pleasant, low-key green space between shopping and the beach, and a working example of the coastal water-quality efforts the city is known for.
